INCI: SC-CO2 Muscatica Fragrans Extract
Extract Type: Supercritical Fluid Extraction with Natural CO2
Appearance: Oil-like thick mass with waxy inclusions, light yellow
Ingredients: Essential oil (myriscin, safrole) and fatty oils
Dosage: 0.2-0.5%; in therapeutic agents: 0.6-2%
Do not heat above: 35-45 °C.
Solubility: insoluble in water, highly soluble in oils and fats.
Recommendations for use: in cosmetics for the care of problem skin. It is used in anti-cellulite products as a tonic and fat-burning component. Recommended for use in hair care products. Gives hair shine and silkiness.
